FAQ

1. Where do I go for service?
If you purchased your spa from an authorized AQUALOTUS SPAS dealer, please give them a call. If for some reasons, that dealer is no longer in business, or no longer services the brand, you can contact us directly.

2. Where can I find my spa’s serial number?
The serial number for your spa is located on wood frame under the LOGO. Once you locate the serial number, you should record it in the space provided in the front of your spa owner’s manual for future reference.

3. How much does it cost to operate my spa?
Operating costs depend on a number of factors, including the size of the spa, how frequently it is used, the water temperature setting, the ambient temperature/ weather conditions and the quality of your water maintenance, factored against your local energy cost per kilowatt hour. Your local dealer can probably give you detailed information specific to your area.

4. How can I minimize the energy costs associated with my spa?
The main cost of spa operation is heating the water. Therefore, the less the heater operates, the lower your costs will be. Your AQUALOTUS SPAS features full foam insulation inside the cabinet and a thick, insulating cover to help conserve the water’s heat. Following are some tips you van uses to further help keep energy costs down.
1) Always keep your spa covered when not in use.
2) When you finish using your spa, turn off the air control(s). The air mixed with the water when these controls are open is usually cooler than the water. This is especially important in the colder months.
3) Be diligent about your routine water care to minimize the frequency with which you drain and refill your spa. This doesn’t mean that you need to spend a lot of time; just attend to it regularly to ensure that the key water quality factors stay within the proper ranges. Here are some additional tips:
1) Follow the water care regimen recommended by your dealer.
2) Clean your spa’s filter regularly.
3) Avoid the use of scented water additives in your spa.
5. What kind of chemicals and care does my spa need?
Your dealer will instruct you in proper water care and then be available for questions as they arise. General guidelines are also included in your owner’s manual. Here are the basics: Once you have handled the initial balancing of the water’s total Alkalinity, PH and Calcium Hardness, You will add the sanitizer. It will then be a matter of routinely checking to ensure that these factors remain with the desired ranges. Typically, the only chemical required on a regular basis after the initial balancing is the sanitizer, as this dissipates over time. Unusual water conditions in some areas, and other factors, may necessitate the addition of other chemicals to assure optimal water quality. Beyond that, you will only to clean your filter regularly and minimize the amount of foreign matter (dust, debris, cosmetics, etc.) that get into the water. You will need to drain and refill your spas every two to six months, depending on a number of factors including how much the spa is used, whether or not the spa has an effective ozone generating system and how well you have followed the recommended water care instructions
